About McStorms
In
Twisp
We never expected to sell our home and 5 acres
on a ridge above the Columbia River in Kelso, but
we caught a vision for moving to the remoteness
of the Methow Valley in Eastern Washington in
late 2005. We did it in 2006!

We built a modest cabin type log home on about 5
acres on the Twisp River.  We have a spot for
friends with RV's to visit, and lots of local activities
to share with our family and friends who visit.
Please feel welcome to come and have a respite
here. There is plenty of quiet, and a pace to match.

We raise our pups in our home and limit ourselves
to a few dogs that are our companions.  If we have
a litter of puppies, it is well planned and for the
purpose of improving on breed traits and creating
companions for us and others who love dogs like
we do.  Health and temperament are our highest
priorities in breeding.  We guarantee our puppies,
but hope to never have to replace a pup or refund
you because the pain of giving up on a puppy is
something we want to avoid in breeding whenever
possible.  Even in dogs with health clearances,
there are risks. We make sure to eliminate as many
risks as possible with good breeding practices.

While Twisp is remote, we strongly encourage you
to make the trip over to meet our dogs before
deciding if you want a puppy from McStorms.  You
are welcome to use our RV site or we have a guest
apartment you can stay in.  Make a weekend of it!
We will also be at dog shows several times a year,
and are very willing to meet you and have you
meet our dogs there.
